Star Next Durable Base comes in a variety of forms ranging from melt-on, liquid, and block. The block form contains an extra ingredient that will help with adhesion to the ski base. This product can be used in a very broad range of conditions, but especially on more abrasive conditions like older and man made snow.

This block is designed to be applied with a roto wool. You can either crayon the block directly to the ski, and finish with a wool roller, or load up the wool roller then apply the wax to the ski. It is still important to brush after the application with a nylon brush to polish.
